Embed Your AI Agent in Weebly

Adding your Answerly AI agent to your Weebly website takes less than two minutes.

Because Answerly handles structural layout adjustments behind the scenes, you don't need to wrap your widget inside custom embed boxes or drag modules onto individual pages, just drop it directly into your global SEO configuration settings.

Here is the step-by-step guide to embedding your AI agent on Weebly.

1. Copy Your Embed Snippet

Before heading to Weebly, you need to grab your unique widget code from the Answerly dashboard.

Go to the Instant Embed page, and click on Connect a Website:

When you click connect a website you get a modal where you're asked to connect your website:

Insert your website below without https and any other special characters.

www.example.com ℹ️ If your website works with www then make sure you include it here too.

Once you click continue an embed code will be generated for you. Copy this script snippet to your clipboard.

2. Add Code using Weebly Settings Injection

Weebly features an intuitive settings page that allows you to safely inject footer code scripts globally across your entire site.

  1. Log into your Weebly Dashboard and open your active website editor canvas.
  2. In the top horizontal layout navigation menu, click on Settings.
  3. In the left-hand sidebar menu options list, select SEO.
  4. Scroll down the SEO settings page until you locate the text box field labeled Footer Code.
  5. Paste your copied Answerly script snippet code directly into the Footer Code block field area workspace.
  6. Click Save in the bottom right corner of the settings pane area.
  7. Click the blue Publish button in the top right corner of the primary editor interface to push the script changes live to your production domain link layouts.

3. Verify the Connection

Once the code is added to Weebly, we need to establish the connection between your site and Answerly.

  1. Open your live, published Weebly website link in a new browser tab.
  2. Refresh the page a few times—this executes the script parameters and alerts our system hooks.
  3. Head back to the Answerly website dashboard.

Your dashboard status will update to show that your website is successfully Verified.


4. Set Your Display Conditions

Now that the handshake is complete, you can control exactly where your AI agent appears. In your Answerly dashboard settings, choose whether you want to show your agent across all pages, or set specific path conditions to match your preference.
