By giving your Agent access to your documents, website links, and FAQs, you ensure it stays on script and provides 100% accurate answers.

How Training Works (The Magic)

Unlike other AI tools that just "glance" at your files, Answerly goes deeper. When you upload a document or crawl a website, our system breaks that content down into verified Q&As. Instead of guessing what your document says, the AI converts your data into a clear list of facts. You can even see these facts in your dashboard, edit them, or delete the ones you don't need. This is why Answerly is so accurate, it's only using information you have personally verified.

Adding Knowledge Sources

To start training, head to the Knowledge tab in your dashboard. You can add information in three main ways:

  • Website Crawling: Paste your website URL. Answerly will visit every page, read the content, and automatically extract every useful fact it finds.
  • Documents & PDFs: Upload manuals or spec sheets. We’ll scan the text and turn those complex pages into simple, bite-sized answers.
  • Plain Text: Perfect for quick internal notes or specific rules that aren't written anywhere else.

The "Fact-Only" Rule

Answerly is designed to be honest. If a customer asks a question, the Agent looks through your Verified Knowledge for the answer.

If the answer isn't there, the Agent won't "hallucinate" or make up a story. Instead, it will politely let the user know it doesn't have that information yet. This protects your brand from giving out wrong prices or false promises.

Refining the Brain

You don't have to get it perfect on day one. Training is an ongoing process:

  1. Check the logs: See exactly what customers are asking.
  2. Fill the gaps: If the Agent couldn't answer a question, simply add a new fact.
  3. Verify & Go: The moment you approve a new fact, your Agent is "smarter" and ready to use that info in the very next chat.

Pro Tip: Quality over Quantity

You don't need to upload 500-page books. The more concise and clear your facts are, the faster and more accurately your Agent will respond.
