Open Graph meta tags are snippets of code that control how URLs are displayed when shared on social media.

They’re part of Facebook’s Open Graph protocol and are also used by other social media sites, including LinkedIn and Twitter.

You can find them in the <head></head>§6 section of a webpage. Any tags with og: before a property name are Open Graph tags.

You can edit the meta tags content including:

  • OG Title
  • OG Description
  • OG Image link

OG Title

This is the title of your answer.

Remember that this will be shown whenever someone shares a knowledge base link on social media.

You can edit and add your own text inside the html <meta property=”og:title” content=”” />§6 tags, in the right menu under (OG) Title, as shown in the picture below:

OG Description

This is where you describe your content, but instead of it showing on a search engine results page, it shows below the link title when someone shares a knowledge base link on social media.

You can edit and add your own text inside the html <meta property="og:description" content="" />§6 tags, in the right menu under (OG) Description, as shown in the picture below:

OG Image link

The OG Image link is used to specify the URL of the image that appears when someone shares a knowledge base link on social media.

You can edit and add your own image link inside the html <meta property="og:image" content="" /> §6tags, in the right menu under (OG) Image link, as shown in the picture below:
